A Violin by Kyle Schultz

Violin by Kyle Schultz, United Kingdom, 2019

This Stradivari model violin was crafted by a skillful young maker. Kyle's enthusiasm and obsession for researching Cremonese models are genuinely transmitted to its making. From our point of view, its highlight is the elegance of the edges' fluting, evidenced by the dark purfling. More

      Full description

"Inspired by the 'P-form' by Antonio Stradivari., the front is made from Spruce of tight grain broadening out towards the flanks. The two-piece back comprises medium flamed maple with the flames almost perpendicular to the central joint. The ribs and scroll are of matching maple as to the backplate. It has narrow handmade purfling made from pear wood; this dark purfling gives boldness to the outline. The violin consists of a warm golden-brown oil varnish on a golden-yellow ground in the style of a new finish, made in Late 2019 in the United Kingdom" Kyle Schultz

Violin bow by Amorim & Ribeiro *, silver

        By Amorim & Ribeiro  |  , Brazil

A violin bow crafted by the hands of a master maker. José has become renowned for his capabilities in selecting the perfect wood for each bow with an unparalleled balance, flexibility, and playability. In our opinion, the delicate thin Pernambuco stick this bow’s highlight.
