Full description
This is the traditional contemporary cremonese violin by excellence. This violin shows off all the characteristics of the classical method, brought back to Cremona by Master Bissolotti in the second half of the 20th century, and reflects all the attributes of Francesco Bissolotti immense talent. The violin counts with stunning wood, very fine grain high-quality italian spruce top, deep flamed maple on the ribs, neck and scroll, and the beautiful single piece back.
The instrument is all covered with the very characteristic shiny red-orange varnish that is present is almost all of Bissolotti's work, over a light golden-yellow ground colour that enhances all the beauty of the carefully selected wood. Bissolotti's high-level skills are notable on this violin prufling, carefully made, with very thiner darker lines that brings it's elegant essence.
The scroll is carefully crafted, with a less deeper carving on the volute and the pegbox is round edged only on the outside, which complements its beauty and elegance with the sharp precise craft of the straight inner cut.
