This Cremona violin was crafted by the hands of a skillful young maker. Jung's bases in the Cremonese school and attention to aesthetical details are notable in this Stradivari model instrument. Full description

"For this instrument I used the Antonio Stradivari 'Greffuhle' base model, from 1709, with some personal touches. The wood used was seasoned for at least 10 years, a light wood with a nice tone. The top presents a medium-thin grain, and the back has a characteristic medium-intense flamed figure. This violin is covered with an amber brown oil varnish." Gawang Jung

Violin bow by Marta Lucchi, silver mounted

By Marta Lucchi  |  , Cremona

A violin bow crafted by the hands of a master maker. Marta’s long experience as a bow maker allows expressiveness in her characteristic work that follows her father’s style. In our opinion, the high point of this violin bow is its bold squared head.
