      Full description

This Cremona violin was crafted after the highest standards of contemporary Cremonese violin making tradition. The two-piece top of Italian spruce from Val di Fiemme shows a regular, beautiful medium-width grain pattern through the entire plate. Ribs, neck and scroll are all made with a fine flamed maple that matches the large grain single piece back, all covered with a shiny and deep coloured  dark red-brown varnish, perfectly applied, as it is common to Gambarin's violins. This violin is a fine example of his intrusments made in Cremona.
