Maker Interview
Why your instruments are so special?
I seek perfection in every small detail of my work as I believe it to be the secret of the finished instrument’s beauty and the quality of its sound.
I see violin making as a tireless pursuit of harmony of form and sound. In my work there is joy, but also a great commitment to create unique instruments that will endure over time.
What is your inspiration?
I believe that the beauty of the form and the quality of vibration respond to the same laws both in very small details and over large dimensions.
